2 Adventure events designed just for individuals, couples, families...
Sports / adventure weekends & days which are open to the general public.
e.g. Adults only caving, abseiling, climbing weekends... Family & experience days / gifts.
3 Light-hearted mixed-ability mixed-fitness events for corporate clients...
Sports/adventure weekends & days for mixed age & fitness groups of 6 to 100+ people.
e.g. Corporate fun days with inter-team challenges, treasure hunts, outdoor sports, etc.
e.g. Tailored jolly days out for corporate charity fund-raising, incentive days, product launches.
4 Serious* Training & Team Building / Leadership Development for Organisations... .
Bespoke corporate workshops & training residentials lasting 2,3,4, or more days.
* Dr. Iain Jennings has always maintained that in Derbyshire we train sheepdogs and we
try to "develop" people by changing their attitudes and/or their behaviour patterns and/or
their skill sets in a mutually agreeable way !
Serious events are designed to motivate staff, managers and execs. - helping people to achieve
clients' specific pre-determined and agreed aims & objectives to be gauged against jointly agreed
& contracted development training KPI's & Measures of Performance...often related to issues at
work such as leadership, improvement of communications, team-work, decision-making, morale
-boosting, increasing confidence and developing profits through productivity, TQM, CIP.
Also, this heading covers induction courses for police cadets, graduates and other new recruits
such as professional apprentices.
These programmes are fun but we tend to write about them as much more "serious" bespoke
programmes involving a blend of indoor classroom based work & / or outdoor training sessions.
These events are invariably designed and led and reviewed by our most senior training colleagues.
They are not to be mistaken for or confused with adventure sports based " team builds " which we
can also supply but at a much cheaper price and with less time being involved.
Clients include, Aviva, Bosch, E.on, EDF, Rolls Royce, NDA, Range Rover, and many others.
One of the board rooms we use at our preferred accommodation supplier's
premises when you book you revent through our Hathersage Offices.
In addition, we advertise a number of products
at our tried and trusted base in the Tyrol in the
scenic Republic of Austria.
We have a business partner in Ellmau - enabling us to offer team builds all year round
in the lovely Wilder Kaiser Mountains ( half way between Innsbruck & Salzburg airports ).
One of the rather unusual products we offer over in Ellmau is a comprehensive wedding planning
service based in a luxurious four star Tyrolean skiing and walking hotel.
We also from time to time undertake work as WSO, web authoring & advertising consultants.
