Once every month, all year around, Peak Activities Ltd runs friendly informal sports weekends in the Peak District which are open to individual adults and couples & small parties of friends. Click here for a summary of dates and prices of these special interest escapes into the lovely Derbyshire countryside. As highly acclaimed on Television ! These weekends include our popular beginners' caving and our novices rock climbing weekends. Our monthly multisports open weekends combine 4 activities over 2 days and are especially popular with complete beginners of all ages. Peak Activities Ltd's friendly staff have run our popular open climbing weekends & our open caving weekends for individuals (details below) in the Peak District on the second Saturday and Sunday of every month throughout the year for over 20 years. We have an enviable safety record and so you can rest assured you'll be in safe hands working aslongside people who love sharing their enthusiasm for their sports in this lovely area. These relaxing weekend escapes in the Peak Park are designed for absolute beginners aged from 18 to 80 ! Why not try climbing, abseiling and caving and orienteering in a single adventurous thrill-filled mutlsiports weekend ? We meet up on Saturday morning at our friendly base (Rock Lea ) in the centre of Hathersage. It's a great way to try out new sports such as caving, abseiling and climbing and explore the accessible Peak District and meet new friends at the same time. No prior experience and no special fitness and no special equipment is needed. We will supply everything you need to have a great weekend escape ! We just charge for your activities and your insurance, transport and equipment hire. You book your accommodation direct to keep your costs down, but we'll help you if you require assistance booking somewhere to stay.

Our "Open Events" are very informal & we welcome any adult individuals or small groups of friends and couples wanting to get together with like-minded beginners and enthusiasts for a fun weekend of climbing (or caving ).
