years experience instructing hillcraft & winter
mountaineering skills and cross country skiing
in the UK, the
Alps and
the Arctic. They are available
for hire as walking guides and mountain leaders
with £5 million Public and Third Party Liability
Insurance Cover.

all year round in the Peak District & elsewhere
( including our base in the lovely mountains of Austria )
involving Hillcraft and Mountain Safety Skills and
Outdoor First

from groups with specific
hillcraft skills training,
mountaineering skills training or
camping and
survival skills instruction requirements.

- Adventure Racing combines a variety of the
adventure sports on offer at Rock Lea - including
orienteering by day and night - and mountain
biking, abseiling,
canoeing / kayaking caving
and high level mountain trekking. Group event
organisers who use our expertise to tailor events

experiences and successful past creations.

prior to a BSES glacier expedition to Arctic
- Norway with
Iain Jennings in 1974 when iain was the Chief
Glaciologisty and the Safety Officer for groups working on
the Nevertindsbreen Glacier.
- Iain is a
qualified glaciologist and geologist with over three
decades of experience of leading expeditions on glaciers in
Iceland, Norway and Sweden & the Alps.
