One of many delighted Birmingham Cable
programme's delegates wrote the following
after a very successful tailored training event
designed to help folks from several different
functions to work more effectively and efficiently
with one another :-

"Dear Iain,
Can I take this opportunity on behalf of everyone
on the October 2 development training course to
thank you for an excellent week. It provided us
the chance to view Management Development in a way
not possible in the work place. The course structure
allowed each member of the group, whilst working as
part of the group, to also concentrate on individual
management skills that s/he wanted to develop. The week
also allowed ten individuals from different departments
the chance to get to know each much better... ..thanks
again for designing such a positive, relevant, rewarding
& most enjoyable training week."

Above : Many people from the teams from Birmingam Cable were
very keen to volunteer to come back the following year for another
weekend in Hathersage when BBC1 television wanted some "film stars"
for a project filming caving, mountain biking, abseiling and climbing
with us for the "Eleventh Hour" tv programme presented by Cheryl Baker
& Chris Ackabusi. Here's the film's actors with our instructors Lesley
(centre front) Dean (2nd from right, rear) and Ian (standing 2nd left).
