TRANSPORT
FOR VISITING SCHOOL & YOUTH GROUPS :
Due to the rather complex and varied nature of many
local authority guidelines regarding the transportation &
insurance of the youngsters from their schools, we have
decided for the time being to ask all groups involving LEA
youngsters to provide their own transport to and from the
centre - and to use this transport if necessary to get to and
from sites such as crags being used for rock climbing, caves, etc.
Because this works out cheaper for us, our non-residential fees
for youngsters have taken into account the customers' provision
of transport. Our staff will travel in one of our own 4 x 4 minibuses
or one of our 4X4's with all the necessary group & personal training
equipment....so clients minibuses do not need seating for Rock Lea's
or space for our equipment. We can hire in minibuses or coaches
for groups who, say, arrive by train or public service bus and who may
not have their own suitable transport.

Pictured above are Andrews' 74 seater de luxe double decker and one
of their smaller Baby Setra coaches which holds 28 people and offers
a toilet, galley and even DVD player and plasma screens for watching
videos, briefings & presentations in even the most out of the way locations !
Whether you want an open top double decker, a small coach or a

Top tip : don't assume coach hire is always expensive !
It's often MUCH heaper to arrive by coach than travelling in lots of
cars or by rail. It is also kinder on our environment & less stressful
to let the driver do all the work and arrive here relaxed & all together !

say London or Birmingham by a coach than it is for you to hire a
more expensive coach company based in your own home town.

If planning a coach trip here please note alcohol is not allowed to be consumed
or carried inside coaches or minibuses...other than in the boot / luggage areas.
Smoking is not allowed in any of Peak Activities Ltd minibuses or premises at
any time. All Peak Activities Ltd's vehicles have seat belts and the drivers will
expect everyone to use these at all times when the vehicles are travelling anywhere.
