Peak Activities Ltd own the well established and much respected Rock Lea

Centre which was a Founder Member of the British Activity Holidays Association

and is a long standing member of our regional tourist board Visit Heart of England.

 

We've been in business in the Hope Valley for over 20 years. We are often employed

by discerning youth group leaders, teachers, club leaders, scout troop leaders and

other youth group organisers wanting safe and reliable activities in and around the

Hope Valley for their youngsters. As often featured on television !

 

 

 

PEAK ACTIVITIES LTD staff are licensed by the UK

Adventure Activities Licensing Authority to run a wide

range of activities for under-18's - including rock climbing,

abseiling, orienteering, trekking, caving & potholing,

mountain biking, mountain walking & potholing.

 

Youngsters can enjoy two or three sessions during a single day.

Licensed instructors are also available too for canoeing, sailing,

raft-racing & windsurfing days.

 

 

From time to time our staff run events from youngsters - such as one day non-

residential caving and abseiling trips for scouts and schools....as well as longer

residential events such as tailored multisports events for private groups from

schools, scout troops, and clubs and so on.

We have a successful and safe track record of 20+ years experience running

high quality residential & non-residential outdoor activity programmes in the

accessible PEAK DISTRICT NATIONAL PARK and in the AUSTRIAN ALPS for

youngsters & adolescents. All year round, Rock Lea Activity Centre's BEd &

PGCE qualified and nationally qualified coaching NGB staff can arrange tailored

events especially for private groups of youngsters from schools, colleges,

youth clubs, & charitable organisations.

 

We are not the cheapest provider in the Hope Valley by any means, (prices

for a single day of simple activities start at around £30 per person ) but we

aim to offer the best possible levels of safety and service and outstandingly

good value for money. Our insurance cover is the best possible available.

Our safety record is second to none and we offer very good staff:pupil

staffing ratios.
