Sports Division can help you plan and run events short or long for groups big or small ! Schools, clubs and youth groups visiting the Peak District National Park have been using our services for over 20 years. We have special concessionary rates for scouts and schools. You can hire our nationally qualified staff to help you run exciting tailored events lasting one to seven days. Choose from events just for fun - such as sessions of rock climbing, abseiling, caving and orienteering OR plan a structured programme of events including problem solving tasks, team building exercises and sophisticated leadership skills exercises. We are acknowledged leaders in the field of high quality, reliable personal development programmes.

You can book our staff for a single day, a few days or a whole week long programme. Peak Activities Ltd's staff have been organising and running safe and successful tailored events for groups of under-18's for over 25 years. We have been licensed by AALA for over 8 years and have an enviable first class safety record. Customers include scout group leaders, youth & community workers, LEA schools, private educational establishments, colleges and a wide range of charity groups working with and for young people. Our services are also used by church fellowships and small private parties such as groups wanting special birthday trips, etc. ... Over the years our activities have been used most frequently "just for fun" and to help young people get the most out of day trips and residentials to the Peak District National Park. Our wide range of outdoor pursuits and training modules have also been employed very successfully for helping to boost the confidence and responsibilities of young people, to help teach citizenship and teamwork, to inculcate leadership skills and to understand and tolerate the strengths and weaknesses of others. When our training staff are involved we can also run events for under -18's designed to boost decision-making skills, creativity, problem solving abilities and tolerance. Specialist courses run over the years have focussed on specific learning needs and skills...as well as common needs such as confidence building and the improvement of self -esteem and communications skills Talk to us to discuss your specific needs and highlight any particular interests. ....... FEES : Prices for a small party of 6 or more youngsters if booked well in advance can start from as little as £30-00 to £50-00 per day or part day per person in the party ( midweek & subject to NGB qualified staff availability ). Prices we quote for tuition will vary according to dates, activities and numbers in party. Other parameters affecting costs include whether or not the youth group is providing their own transportation ( most do to minimise costs ) and the type of accommodation you opt for. We can base our tailored events for young people in local youth hostels, at a number of tried and trusted local camping sites, in camping barns and private hotels and private hostels. .......
