Peak Activities Ltd's popular "Open Events"  are scheduled 
social outdoor activity weekends and longer events in the heart
of Derbyshire Peak Park which are open to the public.  
These popular sports weekends run throughout the year and 
been highly acclaimed  on television and on national radio.

You need no prior experience or special equipment to join one of 
these Derbyshire Adventure Weekends.

Our open friendly face leisure events include lots of 
different weekend breaks which are open to any individual 
who cares to book a place to meet new friends and socialise 
with like-minded people.  Come alone or with your friends.

Getting here to the Peak District is really easy from all parts 
of the UK by road or rail.  We also rn events from time to time
in Austria's wondeful Alpine Tyrol.

Examples of our open courses available this year include our 
Novices CAVING & POTHOLING weekends, First Aid Courses, 
Beginners'  Weekends of ROCK CLIMBING & ABSEILING and 
our very highly acclaimed MULTI-SPORTS WEEKENDS which
include abseiling, caving, orienteering and outdoor rock
climbing sessions.  These are run monthly.


Expect a lively bunch of fellow enthusiasts - many of whom 
will be complete novices.  It's a great way to meet new friends
and try out new experiences. Numbers vary according to how 
many people book...but there are usually between 6 & 12 people 
on each event looked after by up to four of our instructors.
No special fitness and no special equipment is needed to join
most of our weekends.

Most of our open events are based in the Peak District National Park, 
but sometimes they are located in the Lake District, North Wales 
& in other superb environments including the Alps. Come alone or 
bring a friend or partner !   No prior experience is needed or special 
fitness and no special equipment is needed !
