OTHER YOUTH ORGANISATIONS
Peak Activities Ltd has many years experience
organising safe outdoor pursuits and adventurous
activities for groups of Scouts, youth clubs, police
cadets, schools and other youth organisations who
visit the Peak District National Park.
As an AALA licensed centre we comply fully with
all national and government safety standards and
some of our own standards far exceeed the national
staffing ratios & standards laid down for some activities.

Steve manages a safety consultancy business & is a warranted
scout troop leader in his own right - running a scout group in
his home town.
Popular activities run by our centre's fully qualified &
experienced leaders are CAVING, POTHOLING, ABSEILING,
ROCK CLIMBING, ORIENTEERING and MOUNTAIN BIKING.
What else can we arrange to do with Peak Activities ?
Several of our staff are former and currently warranted scout
leaders - and one of our directors is a senior member of the
movement who holds the Silver Acorn & Medal of Merit awarded
by the Chief Scout for services as a safety advisor to the Scout
Association over three decades.

schools and other bone fide youth organsations who are
willing to book well in advance with us. Please click here

Please note that as a private limited company we are charged
quite a lot for our insurance cover, etc. so we regret we cannot
offer activities for scouts free of charge and we do have to make
charges which reflect the need to pay our staff their wages and
make good any wear and tear on our equipment, premises,
vehicles & so on.

for some activities that are labour intensive.

Our company's special parental consent forms need to
be completed if you are bringing away youngsters aged
under 18 yrs who are not being accompanied by their
legal guardians or their parents.

ACCOMMODATION FOR GROUPS WHO
ARE WORKING TO A TIGHT BUDGET...
Local low budget accommodation includes farm camping
sites, public camping sites, youth hostels, private hostels,
and camping barns. All our customers will be e-mailed a copy
of our accommodation list once they've confirmed their bookings.
If you follow the link to the list of local tourist information centres,
they too can help you find some excellent low cost camp sites &
camping barns, etc. befor eyou book with us.
