Below is a just a selection of just a few of the hundreds of kind unsolicited
comments and "thank you's" we've received in letters & e-mails from various
individuals, stag group organisers and corporate group organisers who've been
out with us on a wide range of shorter and longer bespoke training events,
corporate "jollies" & other events organised & run by the Peak Activities team.

All the "thank you" comments below were received between 2001 and

now. It if you come to Rock Lea for a visit you can see the original copies

on letterheads of hundreds of endorsements stretching back to 1980 !

The comments below include feedback messages from the leader of a

group of gynaecologists ; a Chief Executive ; the HR Manager of one

of the UK's leading Blue Chip organisations ; the manager of a training

party from the Environment Agency; a Director who organised a two

day inter-team challenge for 56 of her team ; the leader of a bunch of

folks from an international management consultancy, stag group

members,a group organiser from an insurance company and another

from the senior partner who brought over a couple of dozen of his

accountants from his split sites in S.Yorkshire.


Dear Iain, Caroline and all at Rock Lea,

I would just like to say on behalf of us all in the Dstl Technology MS
challenger group a big thank-you for a fantastic weekend. Not only did
we all enjoy ourselves in the undertaking of the activities but we were
also extremely impressed with both your professionalism and hospitality
(not to mention, banter too!). Thanks you again for a superb weekend.
We all managed to get back safely and are now raring to go for challenger
on Wednesday. We will of course keep you posted and let you know how
we faired.

Iain/Caroline/Andy Just a quick note to say thank you very much for a hugely enjoyable day abseiling & orienteering on Saturday. Despite our early morning hesitancy due to having overindulged the night before all of us really enjoyed throwing ourselves off the viaduct and charging around the orienteering course in the afternoon. I would have no hesitancy recommending you to any of my friends and will definitely be looking for an excuse to visit your part of the world again in the near future. Many thanks once again, you would have been very impressed with Graeme's outfit for later in the evening, I think he is somewhat grateful that I didn't make him wear it all day! Dear Iain

I just wanted to drop you a line to say a big thank you to you,
Tony and Andy for a brilliant weekend. We brought the good
weather but you all showed us a great time with the abseiling,

Dear Caroline and Iain,

Just a short note from all of my colleagues at 
Plaut International Consulting to thank you for 
all your efforts in arranging our team building 
event the other week.  On talking to many of them, 
I know that everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves 
( though it may not have looked it as we went over 
the side of the cliff abseiling for the first time).

As we find ourselves on different projects during the 
year, we do not find ourselves together very often and 
it was a very pleasant change to spend some real quality 
time  together whilst confronting new challenges and 
helping each other overcoming our fears and problems.
The whole thing went very smoothly and we got exactly 
what we had hoped for from it - and we got to know each 
other much better as a result.  Unfortunately these sort 
of forums do not happen very often but we are all eagerly

Thank you both so much for all the hard work and effort
you and your team put into the planning and running of
our corporate weekend, and for your dedication in making

So what conclusions be drawn from all the various comments above ?

Well, we feel that it is time well spent discussing your requirements
& needs in detail with one of Peak Activities Ltd's friendly expert
senior staff before making your minds up what to do or where to go.
It's quite an art to pick out the best combinations of events to suit
different types of groups and different fitness, weather conditions, etc.

We also believe that time spent coming and looking us over , and
considering all the many various choices ...and planning things
carefully with us is seldom wasted ! Proper prior planning prevents
a poor performance every time !

Successful events don't happen just by accident. Good planning and
working with people who know their stuff and who are committed to
making your team event a safe success just makes it look easy & simple
on the day !

...and whether you're a PA or the Chief Executive ...it always a really
good feeling (and a relief ) to run a really good enjoyable event with
