when our private car park is full or in use by staff and other clients.

All the accommodation options we recommend have ample car

PUBLIC COACH TRANSPORT TO THE PEAK DISTRICT...

The 272 Castleton - Sheffield service bus route runs right past
our centre and this public bus stops just two minutes walk away
- just by the village's Post Office.

Sheffield's major public coach interchange at Pond Street
is located just across the road from Sheffield's Midland
railway station in the centre of Sheffield, making it very easy
to arrive either by long distance public coach or by rail and
switch to either the local 272 bus service or the local rail link
connecting westward through to the centre of Sheffield and
over the moors to Hathersage (10 miles).

You can therefore choose to arrive in Hathersage from Pond
Street coach and railway stations by service bus or by rail,
with a wide choice of frequent connections. You can also
hire a private coach or minibus ( see below ) if there are a few
of you coming here.

The "Stagecoach" bus company runs intercity coach services into
Sheffield from almost everywhere ...and the National Express Coach
Service website is well worth checking out too. Tel. 08705-80 80 80.

A 74-seater de-luxe double decker coach.

Peak Activities Ltd. staff are always willing to help our group
customers who want to hire coaches and minibuses locally.
Our friends and neighbours Andrew Coaches are often drafted
in to meet groups of our guests at local airports - or to fetch them
here from places as far afield as London, Leicester, Leeds and
Birmingham.

Phone us on 01433-650345 to discuss your requirements with us.
or read on below for more information....

GROUP ORGANISERS - HIRING A PRIVATE COACH
TO GET YOU HERE IS EASY & VERY COST EFFECTIVE.

People organising large or smaller groups often discover that hiring a
private coach or minibuses from our suppliers Andrew's Coaches in
nearby Tideswell is nearly always cheaper and better than gettng one
of their local coach hire firms to handle the contract for them. It's a
great way to arrive relaxed and fresh !

Andrews modern VIP coaches are clean and comfortable. They have toilets,
galleys for making drinks and snacks - and they some have DVDs and facilities
for showing films on large plasma screens to enable your party to pass the time
and speed you on your journey.

It's also often a much greener way to travel than bringing lots of cars !

Even if you are bringing up a party from, say, London, it can often be cheaper
for Andrew's to send down a coach to collect you than to hire a coach from your
home town. Some of Andrew's vehicles like the one pictured above can carry
up to 74 passengers. They also provide smaller coaches and minibuses with
trailers for all your luggage, etc.

Phone us for more information on the wide range of transportation services
we can provide for customers booking groups of people in for activities,
team challenges, training courses, etc. with Peak Activities Ltd. Compared
with hiring in your home town, coach hire through Peak Activities is often a
lot cheaper than one might at first imagine - so get a quote before you dismiss
this idea.

We regret we can only arrange & discuss discounted coach hire quotes with our bone fide clients who are booking training and corporate events with Peak Activities Ltd.

Our centre's minibuses will run you around during your stay with us, so a car is not usually required during your stay with us. Why not consider the Green Option and arrive by train ? Lots of our clients arrive by car but increasingly the train is being seen by some as the most environmentally friendly way to arrive fresh & relaxed for your course with us ! There are already lots of cars & vans polluting and crowding the Peak National Park's road, so we've planned most of our events so you won't need your cars whilst you're enjoying an event with us....so consider arriving by train and choose to either work or relax on the way here. Your carbon footprint will be lower than travelling by car too !
