AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY OF HATHERSAGE Peak Activities base is located right in the very centre of the charming village of Hathersage...overlooked by local crags and hills and moorlands and although we're in the heart of the lovely Peak District National Park, it's easy and quick to get here by road, railway or air from all parts of the United Kingdom and overseas. The bright blue colour of the open air heated swimming pool near to Rock Lea stands out very clearly on this aerial image of the village of Hathersage and the surrounding patchwork of grazing fields. The village's car park and Rock Lea's own car park are in the centre of the village just to the West (left) of the swimming pool and tennis courts. Hathersage railway station is on the lower edge of the image, within easy walking distance of the village's many popular outdoor shops, gift shops and cafes.
